DeLallo Gluten Free Orzo Pasta is a great alternative to traditional orzo, made with corn and rice flour. This pasta is perfect for individuals with gluten sensitivities or celiac disease. With a great texture, it absorbs liquid well and reConstitutes perfectly. It is also perfect for rice pilaf, chicken soup or salads. The product comes in a pack of three 12oz bags. Customer Experience and Reception: Positive feedback was given to the texture and performance of the pasta as it did not break down after sitting in liquids for a while like most GF pasta. Customers noted that it absorbed liquid and just needed a little added water, making it perfect for soup. Non-GF individuals said they could not tell the difference. Customers also said the pasta is great for a cold salad and worked well without going mushy or hard. On the flip side, negative feedback was given on the texture, taste, and the cost of the product. Some felt it was expensive and had a gritty feel in the mouth while tasting very corn-like which wasn't expected from an orzo pasta. Some were also disappointed that one of the bags came damaged while others felt the product was a straight-up rip-off as only two bags were shipped instead of three.
