However, some customers received old or melted candy bars, which were unpleasant to eat. One customer's package was poorly wrapped and arrived smashed, rendering the candy bars "no more than dust." On another note, it appears that the recipe for Butterfinger candy bars has recently changed, and many customers are unhappy with the new flavor, describing it as gross and worse than ten-year-old peanut butter with a peanut butter scented perfume.
