The Craftsman Miter Saw is a decent product for the price and works well for small jobs and precision cuts. It can cut baseboards at 45 degrees and can make cuts at 22.5 degrees. The saw has a maximum board size of 4" x 6.5" at 90 degrees and 4" x 4.25" at 45 degrees. It can cut trim that is about 1/4" to 1/2" thick. Users need to clamp down the piece they are cutting as the table is not wide enough to hold it by hand. The blade that comes with it is of poor quality and needs to be replaced. Issues with the product include the difficulty in finding replacement blades for a reasonable price and the inability to use it with any other saw. Overall, the Craftsman Miter Saw is a satisfactory tool for small jobs, but if one wants to do more, they must purchase a larger, sturdier tool.
