The cable strap has a length of 9" when fully tightened and 13.5" when fully loosened. It is possible to remove and put them back on, however, the updated 2021 model is barely removable. The product works well on roller coasters but won't float. The rubber-like substance used in the ends that loop over the temple tips of the glasses may contain latex, and it is designed for a wire frame/ear loop to slide over. The product may not work well on Oakley crankshaft style glasses depending on stretching capabilities.
