The Plugable 10m Active USB 3.0 Extension Cable is a heavy, strong cable with a plastic housing of 1.75" making it unsuitable for use with a 1" conduit. The power adapter provided is compatible with 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.4A MAX and output of 5V 2000mA. It is designed to extend USB 3.0 cables but can also work with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. A user commented that the product did not work for his USB camera and kept dropping the signal. Many users agreed the product worked well for their intended purpose without any issues. However, it does not work well for USB 3.0 devices at long range. Customers also found that the design requiring the power supply to be on the device end is inconvenient, and its repeater in the middle can be located better. It can extend VR headset and works with ANT+ dongle without any dropouts.
