The water reservoir is made of plastic, and the showerhead and nozzle plate are plastic. The brewing temperature is 212 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the unit has a few design flaws such as the loose, poorly attached plastic screen at the bottom of the reservoir, the non-detachable reservoir that makes cleaning difficult, and the small size of the reservoir. Some customers have had issues with the temperature and have received poor customer service. Despite the high price, this coffee maker is ideal for those who love great-tasting coffee and want a no-plastic option.
