What is the purpose of the CPU Box 2 Pcs CPU Plastic Protective Case?

The CPU Box serves to protect your CPU during transportation or storage. It’s specifically designed for AMD processors, ensuring that your components remain safe from physical damage and electrostatic discharge. Using this protective case reduces the risk of scratches, impacts, or dust contamination, making it essential for users who frequently upgrade their systems or require long-term storage options.

Is the CPU Box compatible with other CPU models?

This CPU Box is specifically designed for AMD models such as 938, 940, FM1, and FM2 APUs. However, it’s crucial to verify the dimensions of your CPU as only CPUs that fit within the internal dimensions of the case will be adequately protected. If you own AMD processors that fall outside these specifications, it’s advisable to look for alternative protective cases designed for those specific models.

How is the CPU Clamshell Tray Case constructed?

The CPU Clamshell Tray Case is constructed from durable plastic, providing utmost durability and protection. Its clamshell design allows for easy access while securely encasing the CPU, offering a snug fit to prevent movement during transport. This balance of functionality and protection ensures that users can easily handle their CPUs while minimizing risk, making it ideal for tech enthusiasts and professionals.

Can I use this CPU case for shipping CPUs?

Yes, the CPU Box is suitable for shipping CPUs safely. Its robust construction protects the CPU from shocks and vibrations commonly experienced during transit. By using this case, you can ensure that your processor arrives at its destination without any damage. This is particularly useful for sellers, technicians, or individuals sending their CPUs for repairs or upgrades.

How many pieces are included in the CPU Box?

Each purchase of the CPU Box includes two pieces of the plastic protective case. This is particularly beneficial for those who may have multiple CPUs to store or transport. Having two cases allows users to conveniently handle and protect more than one CPU at a time, making it great for enthusiasts or professionals managing several components.

Does the CPU Clamshell Tray allow for static protection?

Yes, the CPU Clamshell Tray is designed to provide a level of electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. This is essential when dealing with sensitive electronic components like CPUs, which can be damaged by static electricity. Using this case when handling or storing your CPU helps mitigate that risk, ensuring better long-term reliability for your components.

What are the dimensions of the CPU Box?

While the specific dimensions of the CPU Box may vary slightly, it is designed to fit standard AMD CPUs snugly. For precise measurement details, checking the product specifications on the manufacturer's site is advisable to ensure compatibility with your specific CPU models. This attention to dimensions ensures that the case is effective in protecting your CPUs.

Are there any additional uses for the CPU Clamshell Tray?

Beyond CPU storage and transport, the CPU Clamshell Tray can be utilized for organizing other small electronic components, such as GPUs or motherboards, or even for small parts in various hobbies or crafts. Its robust nature and structural design make it a versatile tool beyond just CPU protection.

“I bought Huckberry Flint & Tinder blazer at Ubuy. My request for a return was rejected at first but later I received an apology message willing to resolve the matter without placing any burden on me. I really appreciate their resolution. The blazer was collected yesterday by DHL couriers on behalf of Ubuy. They can only do a refund and not offer a bigger size as i expected, but i am fine with that too. ”
