But that doesn't mean you can't also enjoy it as regular white rice. The rice is pre-washed, but it is still recommended to thoroughly rinse it before cooking. Most customers seem to love the rice and praise its great flavor and Consistency. Some even say it's the best sushi rice they've ever used. One customer mentions brown specks at the bottom of the bag, which aren't bugs but just particles that need to be rinsed off. Keep in mind that the bag is not resealable, but you can use a rubber band or transfer the rice to a plastic bag to keep it fresh.
