The R1 Whey Blend comes in a 10lb bulk package with 136 servings of Vanilla Ice Cream flavor. The flavor is described as a very neutral base with a good taste. The product contains hydrolyzed palm oil, but the saturated fat content is extremely low, making it not an issue when it comes to LDL cholesterol. The protein powder is not gluten-free except for the Birthday Cake and Cookies and Cream flavors which contain wheat. It is a decent value for the price, but some customers complain about the price doubling in less than a year, making it overpriced. However, others appreciate that it ships right to their door for convenience.
