The footrest flips up, and the battery is located on the back. One customer recommends the chair for everyday use, citing its comfortable seat, cool app, easy folding/unfolding, smooth ride, and backpack hooks. However, they note that there is no push bar to maneuver the chair manually, the arms don't lift up, and the anti-tip front wheel makes transfers difficult. Another customer found the chair wonderful, except for the anti-tip wheel's effect on foot placement and movement. They also note that the chair is too heavy for a helper to lift.
