It comes with great brakes and can be easy to transport if you get a higher-priced model with legs that can fold down. The seat can even be used to move a dish of food with a velcro strip on it. However, customers have reported some flaws. Firstly, there are no accompanying clips to retain this piece in the folded position, making it unsafe while travelling. Secondly, the arm and handpieces can be unstable, and it can pop open during use, making it a fall hazard. Lastly, the cable that controls the brake snapped in the handle, but Medline offers replacement cables, which is a friendly gesture.
