SZCO Axes 242602 Editorial Review

The SZCO Supplies 18” Hand Forged Wood Handled Carbon Steel Viking Style Chopping Axe is a light and easily carried axe that is a good addition to any kit. The sticker price of the manufactured item is low, but it will require work to be cleaned up and sharpened to do carving tasks well. The wood for the handle is beautiful and nicely shaped, but it will require sanding and restraining since the stain is unevenly applied with some finger prints. One customer review reported that the handle was still wet upon delivery and stained their shirt, and the "cutting edge" was blunt and flat to the touch, leading them to Consider the product useless as an actual axe. However, another review stated that the product was well made for the price, and while it may not hold up to raiding any villages, it would be able to perform axe tasks satisfactorily.
