The Ambient Weather F007TP 8-Channel Wireless Thermometer with Temperature Probe for WS-07, WS-08, WS-09 Weather Stations is a rugged and reliable product. The probes are not weatherproof but can withstand high humidity and condensation if placed in sheltered locations or enclosures. Replacement sensors are relatively inexpensive. The remote sensors stand up or lay down and have slots for slipping over screwhead or small nail. For convenience, the display monitor can be supported with a hinged leg or attached to a ceiling with Velcro. The guaranteed accuracy of the temperature is within 1-2 degrees and the humidity is probably 2-3 percent. The battery life is good, and the device works well within a range of 75 feet from the transmitter. The probe cable can be extended by cutting and soldering a lengthy wire, but the user has to be careful to cover it generously with liquid tape.
