The toy gun is not dangerous as the balls are large enough to not cause harm to someone's eye or any other delicate area. It is a good size and easy to cock, making it appropriate for children 14 years and older. Although Considered to be a great toy, the plastic material the gun is made of feels flimsy, weak, and cheap. The pull-ring for priming has a tendency to become semi-jammed, making it difficult to operate. Although there are some negatives, the NERF Rival Vision XXII-800 Blaster is a powerful and incredibly accurate toy that is a great addition to any toy gun collection.
