The Ibanez GSRM25 Mikro 5-String Bass Guitar is a great option for beginners or those looking for a affordable bass to gig with. However, there have been mixed reviews on the quality of the product, but generally, it looks great, feels solid and sounds good with some adjustments. A stand-out feature of the GSRM25 is its short scale length, making it much easier and lighter to carry around. The low B string has also received relatively positive feedback, mostly for its lack of floppiness despite doubts. The tone knob alsoserves as a volume knob and can affect overall volume when toned down. Feedback has been split on whether this feature is normal or not but seem manageable. Several comments were made on its string gauge and its compatibility with normal bass strings. Some recommend 3/4 scale length strings while some claim that any gauge of strings can be used. The pickups were not the best and required a upgrade but worked okay in their default state.
