It comes with a 20 Volt battery and charger, which takes about 3 hours to fully charge and runs for 40 minutes on a full charge. The battery comes in two options - 2.0 and 4.0 AH batteries. This saw is a fine and handy product, but investing in a second battery to extend the working time is advisable. Unfortunately, the Worx JawSaw battery is not interchangeable with other Worx tools. The saw includes a compact charging system; an optional quick charger is available to reduce charging time to 20-30 minutes. The extension pole from the electric model does not work on the cordless model. Overall, the Worx JawSaw is a handy tool for trimming small branches and cutting wood for fire pits. The battery life is average, and investing in an additional battery is recommended to achieve optimal working time. The quick 3-hour charge or the quick charge function is essential to avoid significant stoppages in the cutting process.
