This fitting is a one-piece fitting that can be used to connect 1/2 BSP male to 1/2 NPT female devices. The 1/8 BSP male to 1/4 NPT female fitting works perfectly for connecting Iwata airbrush hoses to American 1/4 NPT quick connects. The threads are smooth and the fittings come in excellent condition. They do not use an O-ring or gasket and can withstand PSI up to 110 to 130 with no issues or leakage. However, there have been a few quality control issues reported, such as mismatches in thread sizes and shearing of the male end of the adapter in an inlet coupling.
