Promate Scuba Dive Underwater Writing Slate is a plastic slate that comes with a regular pencil. Customers can also use a grease pencil, but it takes more effort to erase. To erase, cut a Mr Clean Magic Eraser, make a hole for an elastic string, and attach it to the slate. The slate can handle moderate rain, and sanding it with fine sandpaper makes it better for pencil marks. The slate does not come with a compass, and it glows brightly in the dark. Underwater, the included pencil might be too light to see, and customers should use a soft pencil or grease pencil. Despite that, it works well for night dives and in low visibility.
