Star Wars All Collectible Action Figures Editorial Review
The Star Wars The Black Series Clone Captain Rex Action Figure, Walmart Exclusive is a great addition to any Star Wars collection. The figure has a great face sculpt of Temuera Morrison, good range of articulation, and nice accessories with the poncho. The helmet is a big improvement from the previous version and the binocs on the helmet are a nice addition. The silver/blue weld marks look better than the bronze ones on the previous release and the blasters all fit nicely on the holsters and the hands. However, there are some Cons. The poncho can be too cumbersome and it makes it difficult to put on the hood or to have the helmet sit well. Depending on how the figure was sealed on the plastic tray, the kama may not sit naturally. The lack of a shoulder pauldron takes away from the iconic look for Captain Rex and the left hand still doesn't have a trigger finger. Overall, if you can get this figure during a sale, it's definitely worth adding to your collection. Just make sure to be cautious of scalper prices.
