Anime Editorial Review
**Editorial Review of Robot Carnival** *Robot Carnival* is a timeless anthology anime film from the 1980s that showcases the genius of nine of Japan's top animators, woven together through varied themes centered on robots. This film serves not only as a visual spectacle but also as an emotional journey, reminiscent of classics like *Fantasia* and *Heavy Metal*. Each segment, unique in its aesthetic and storytelling approach, presents a diverse experience that resonates with audiences, both old and new. Viewers have noted that the film enriches itself with intricate animation styles and moving narratives, often without relying heavily on dialogue. Instead, it invites the audience to engage with the visuals and music, creating an immersive experience. The film's reissue by Discotek Media has been met with enthusiasm, as it restores the original theatrical sequence and offers English subtitles alongside the original dub. The various segments range from the whimsical to the thought-provoking, showcasing themes of love, existential dread, and the interplay between technology and humanity. Notably, the ending segment has been restored to its original length—something fans are particularly grateful for, given its previous compromised state. While the video quality shows some age, with a few titles appearing grainy, the overall presentation remains compelling and a testament to the era’s artistry. For those exploring the realm of anime, *Robot Carnival* stands out as a definitive work that embodies the creativity and passion of Japanese animation in its golden era. It is not just a film but a conversation starter among fans and newcomers alike, making it a must-watch for anyone looking to understand or appreciate the depth of anime. **

“I bought Huckberry Flint & Tinder blazer at Ubuy. My request for a return was rejected at first but later I received an apology message willing to resolve the matter without placing any burden on me. I really appreciate their resolution. The blazer was collected yesterday by DHL couriers on behalf of Ubuy. They can only do a refund and not offer a bigger size as i expected, but i am fine with that too. ”
