FMF Mufflers 10589 Editorial Review
The FMF Racing 10589 Silencer has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have reported that it works great on their 2-stroke Sherco and makes their bike sound much better after repacking. However, others have found that there was not enough material included to wrap around the core and reach the wall of the silencer. This resulted in the exhaust noise being louder than before and needing to disassemble the exhaust again to add more material. One customer also noted that the package did not come with tie wires for securing to the baffle and another wished that it came with an FMF sticker. Another customer reported that they used this to repack a Pro Circuit 296, but did not find a significant difference in sound after 150 hours. Despite these mixed reviews, some customers have praised the product for having plenty of material to complete the repacking and having excellent customer service from the seller.
