Though the Heininger 4249 HitchMate Cargo Net is made up of heavy-duty material and is UV-resistant, some customers have complained that strings are rotting quickly after a year of use or stored indoors. Some customers also reported the hooks breaking and the cords stretching out easily. The net is not suitable for holding bulky items such as bricks, but it has been useful for small items.
