Old Ale Homebrew & Beverage Supply Co. Kegs & Kegging 5 Gal Editorial Review
If you're into home brewing, then you might want to consider investing in a new keg. The Old Ale keg is perfect for those who just want to make one batch of beer. However, if you plan on producing beer on a regular basis, then you might want to consider buying more than one keg. The kegs are manufactured in China but seem to be of high quality. Most customers were satisfied with their purchase, noting the cleanliness and quality of the build. One customer, however, was disappointed when the keg didn't hold pressure and it cost them an entire batch of beer. Another customer found that the welds were rough compared to their other Corney keg. The keg comes with pre-installed O-rings, and a gas disconnect and a liquid disconnect. The gas and liquid dip tube are included but there are no filters. The liquid side goes to the bottom of the keg, while the gas dip tube only goes down 1-2 inches. Overall, this keg is suitable for those who want to make a small batch of beer or soda. While it has its flaws, it is clean and good quality, and is recommended for home brewers.
