It has a spring-like the original Pro V pusher and is exactly the same as the original one. The slider is compatible with the Debuyer Swing2.0 and will work just fine. However, it is not advised to use it with any brand of mandoline as it fits on a specific track that is probably unique to the La Mandoline Revolution. The pusher is well-made but can be stiff and challenging to use. Overall, for owners of La Mandoline Revolution or Debuyer mandoline, this product is an ideal replacement for the original pusher and slider.
