The Loctite 2701 is a green product, not red as seen in the advertised picture. It also has a shelf life of 1 year. Unfortunately, this item does not come with a Material Data Sheet. It is an improved version of model 270. This is the Indian version. Customers substitute it for a blue grade Loctite in various places like motorcycle bolts, rotors, pedals, etc. Most of them find it effective and not as strong as the red grade, which they reserve for certain internal engine parts.
