The Vanguard BA-185 Binocular Tripod Adaptor is a universal adapter that can accommodate most binocular brands with its threaded 1/4"-20 hole. It has a narrow tapered finger adjustment screw that does not interfere with the binocular lenses or field of view. The bottom part that attaches to mono or tripod is a threaded 1/4"-20 hole for a tripod to screw into, just like on a camera. It is bulky compared to other brands. Some customers complained about play in the screw, missing spacer or difficulty fitting it between the barrels of their binoculars. The robustness of this product was praised, while the sturdiness of the threads was criticised. The reviewer recommended using it for binoculars with a minimum 1" (2.5cm) gap between the barrels, so probably only a porro-prism pair or a really large roof-prism pair. If you have a bigger pair, then this mounting bracket is certainly beefy enough to hold your binoculars steady.
