The Ryobi BS904G 9 Bandsaw is a good product for those who are new to woodworking or hobbyists. It can cut material up to an inch thick, but there may be some blade walk beyond that. To achieve professional results, cut outside the line and use a router with a template and a bearing to finish the cut. It is not variable speed, but it is functional. It comes with a blade and has a work surface of approximately 12x14. The product is made in China with American parts, and the manufacturer's suggested part number for the blade is 089120406124 (62 in. x 6 mm x 0.3t). There are mixed reviews for this product. Some customers had issues with the base being warped and experiencing a lot of rust. One customer is still hoping for a refund. However, another customer who is a Ryobi user found this saw to be great for what they need. A beginner woodworker found the saw to be perfect for their needs and a great first bandsaw, but did note that it works better with 1/2'' blades. Another customer stated that the Ryobi instructions were a little vague, but they were still pleased with the product and found it to be a must-have for weekend warriors.
