The HiyaHiya Flyers are a hybrid between Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) and circular needles, making it easier to manage than 4 or 5 DPNs or the magic loop technique. The needles are sharp and smooth, and the Flyers are flexible and much easier on the hands. They are perfect for small circumferences like socks and gloves. Customers love the Flyers as they are easier to use than regular DPNs, they speed things up, and the quality of the needles is excellent. However, some customers found the needles to be sharp and require finger protection. Additionally, a few customers had a slight issue with yarn catching on the join where the cable and needle meet if knitting is tight. The Flyers are flexible but are more expensive than rigid cable needles.
