It is capable of tracking objects but may not be smooth for 3-5 minute exposures. The weight of a camera or smartphone may impact tracking but generally up to 30 seconds of exposure is possible. It is also possible to use a projector with this telescope for group viewings. The primary mirror has a collimation circle and an adapter is required to attach a DSLR camera. The telescope receives mixed reviews regarding its motor performance and Wi-Fi connectivity. Alignment is improved when using the app and identifying bright stars.
