McCormick is a gluten-free product brand and their products are subject to rigorous safety and quality assurance measures. The product does not contain any garlic. It doesn't require soaking in liquid before adding it to the batter. The container has about 9 or 10 teaspoons of dried orange peel. There were some complaints from customers about the product lacking flavor and aroma, some even compared it to sawdust.
