The drivers for the device are installed automatically and it is compatible with Linux, Windows, and Raspberry Pi. There were mixed results when tested with Android, with one person unable to get it to work with an old GPS test app while another suggested someone with a newer Android would have better luck. Its sensitivity was found to be good and it works for astrophotography and water and sewer mapping. Some users had trouble with initial acquisition, with one person giving up after 30 minutes of bouncing between two solutions, although other users had no issues. It works fine with ham radio related software, can be powered via a 10' USB3 cable, and has been in continuous operation for two weeks.
