The product also has a Battery Type Selector and Over Temp Protection. Some customers had trouble understanding how to update some of the settings, as no antenna or wifi is built-in, and the charge controller does not automatically adjust for different time zones. The internal clock requires proper settings. Another noteworthy problem is that there is no external view unless the unit is connected to a main view. The charge controller has high voltage protection after 100V, but if the voltage is too high, there are chances of the charge controller getting damaged or destroyed. To avoid such situations, the customers must plan the solar array and its connection carefully to avoid over-voltage connections.
