The lock cylinder may be slightly twisted, however, allowing the lid to open without using the key. This can be remedied by adding simple L angle plastic tabs to the inside of the lid. Although some customers have reported receiving cracked boxes or missing hinges, this product has been well received as a donation box for small groups, and as a raffle bin for events.
