The Jamo S 810 subwoofer is an affordable, lightweight, active subwoofer with a frequency response of 36Hz - 180Hz. It comes with a standard 6ft sub cable that has male RCA tips on each end. It has smooth minimalist casing with amplifier controls; Gain and Low-Pass dial at the bottom of the unit. It can be connected to a home theater receiver as long as the receiver has a sub-out. The Auto-on feature turns the unit on and off when it is needed. Customer feedback shows that the unit is punchier; producing loud low frequencies that require fine-tuning to properly balance within a user's sound system. The sub is not an audiophile sub but produces great performance for its cost. The veneer is thin, but the appearance of the grill is pleasing to the eye.
