The AcuRite Atlas is a weather station sensor that measures temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, UV and light intensity. It is not compatible with the Iris (5 in 1) display units. According to reviews, the Atlas Station works well and appears to be accurate. However, some customers have had several issues with the connection between the display and the outdoor sensor, and have had to perform factory resets multiple times. Some also report difficulties with customer support, which is only available via email. The sensor itself appears to function well, but some customers have reported issues with the rain gauge overestimating rainfall during downpours. The temperature sensor is said to be very accurate, and the add-on lightning detector is reported to work well. However, the display unit is known to have limitations and can only store data for a short period. While the Atlas is reported to have higher quality materials compared to the Iris, it is still affected by salt air, which can impact its performance. Finally, the Atlas sensor is only compatible with the Atlas HD Touchscreen Display.
