The Complete Series of Excel Saga is an absurdist anime parody that can be described as insane, nonsensical, and not for kids. The show's focus on hyperactive main character, Excel, and her second-in-command, Hyatt, often causes unintended destruction. The 26th episode is particularly notorious for breaking every available broadcasting rule. Despite its intentionally offensive nature, the show is an entertaining farce that still holds up today. The English voice-over of Excel can be grating, but the Japanese translation remains unparalleled in terms of speed and quality. Excel Saga is not suitable for those who are particularly concerned with political correctness.
