It is warm and blocks the wind pretty well, however, it is not completely waterproof. The material is breathable and has wicking properties to pull away moisture (sweat), making it very comfortable, but it traps sweat inside the jacket. There aren't many pockets as well. The jacket is good for temperatures below 35°.
