The blade of the knife can be retracted or stored away by pressing the silver part of the colored handle and slowly moving the blade into the enclosure. The knife is made in China by a USA company and comes fairly sharp. It is an appropriately sized foreign-made knife for its price and good value for the money. The knife has a locking mechanism when not in use. Customers find it a handy and well-built tool that is easy to use and attach to their keys or belt. The blade arrives sharp and well-centered, with good lockup and no play. However, it only lasted six months with light use and was pretty dull by the time the tip snapped for one customer.
