Though, it requires 48-volt phantom power that most karaoke machines don't provide. The mic's handling noise is minimal and comparable to a Shure SM58, and it comes with a decently padded storage bag. Its packaging was in good condition and came with all the paperwork. Some people mentioned that the output signal is low, making it not useful at capturing a choir from 4 feet. Others found the mic sounding a little harsh. One individual received a defective item. Overall, the Audio-Technica AT2010 is an excellent performing mic that produces high-quality recordings and is a great value for the money.
