The holes measure 1/4 inch within an accuracy of around +/- .001 inch. The square is small enough to fit in a pocket, which makes it easy to use. It is also cool, and finding the center or establishing a reference line does not take a lot of time or effort. The quality of this product is excellent, especially for the price, as it is made in the USA, and comparable brands cost about twice as much. It is a handy tool, recommended for any woodworker who is looking for more accuracy in their work.
