The Liberty Pumps 237 is a durable and efficient submersible sump pump with a VMF switch. It will leave approximately 1/2" of water in the sump basin in order to prevent it from running "dry". A few customers had issues with the float activation switch, but most found it to be a reliable and quiet product that is easy to install. This sump pump has a weep hole and can fit in a hole as small as 10". While it will work with a 5/8" garden hose, it is designed to push water through a 1 1/2” diameter pipe. The power cord is over 6 feet long. The Liberty Pumps 237 has received positive reviews from customers and is Considered a quality pump.
