The spool for flux core wire has an 11/16 inner hole and an 8" spool is the largest that can be used. The welder can work on 220 30 amp and can also operate on a generator around 6000-7000 watts. The welder is made in Appleton, WisConsin, and is ready to start welding right out of the box. It is recommended to use a tank with a mixture of 75% Argon 25% CO2 instead of flux core wire for better welds. Fans and wind can affect MIG welding, so the less air motion, the better.
