The heater is well made and easy to install, though the wiring directions may be ambiguous. The built-in thermostat is not reliable and cannot be turned off completely. However, it can be bypassed and controlled by a wall thermostat. The fan is not excessively loud but may need TV volume adjustments. Some customers suggest buying a heater with a squirrel cage for less fan noise. The heater fits into any 16" on center Constructed wall, but if the studs are 2' on center, a cripple needs to be added. The main drawback is the lack of a positive off feature, which can cause the unit to run indefinitely if the temperature is below 44°F. In some cases, replacement thermostat switches with a positive off position need to be purchased separately from Cadet. Overall, the Cadet 67507 Com-Pak Plus Fan Heater is a reliable and efficient heater, but with some limitations that must be Considered.
