The set includes an 8-gallon can and a 1.2-gallon can, both with stainless steel bases and round, stainless steel lids. The larger can has a lid diameter of 11.5" and is 25" tall when closed, while the smaller can has an outer diameter of 25.5 inches. The lid seals pretty well, keeping smells contained, but it is not water-tight. The entire can and lid are very sturdy and solid, and the interior liner can be removed for easy cleaning. On the downside, some customers reported issues with the foot pedal breaking off or the plastic nubs wearing out quickly. Others found the dimensions confusing or misleading and wished the larger can was actually larger. However, for those using the can for baby diapers or wanting a cheaper alternative, many found this can to be a good option, as the lid seals in smells and it can be used for more than just diapers.
