The size of the square plate on the latch is 57mm*26mm, and the size of the strike plate is 57mm*45mm. The locks can be opened from the outside by inserting a small flat object into the slot and turning it. However, the plate on the adjustable latch is non-removable. Customer experience and reception of this product have been mixed. While some customers found the black color nice and easy to install, others were disappointed with the quality and mentioned that the locks were defective and had issues seizing or not locking. Some customers complained that the locks could only be locked from the inside, which posed a safety problem for children.
