The heat range is not specified, but there is a high-temp paint good for 1500 degrees F. This paint also works well on small parts, giving a good deep gloss black, but may take a long time to dry. One customer said it took two weeks to dry, and another used a heat gun and a toaster oven to speed up the drying process. There are some Cons, including splattering and sagging of the paint when applied thinly.
