The VHT SP652-6 PK Satin Black Epoxy All Weather Paint is a tough, long-lasting paint that is ideal for boats, planes, and metal surfaces. The paint is not UV stable and will fade if exposed to direct sunlight frequently but can be protected by using their Wheel Coating Clear. The durability of the paint is astonishing if applied and prepped properly. However, the tongue that gets direct sun has faded. So, one needs to be cautious when applying it to surfaces exposed to direct sunlight. The paint results in a semi-gloss finish rather than a satin finish as advertised. Although the nozzle of the can seems to function well, there have been complaints about the paint running all over the can and leaking from the user. Some reviewers have also mentioned that the paint flakes easily, and the surface prep has to be thoroughly conducted for maximum durability.
