It does not have a strong odor and can be stored in the plastic bag that it came in. It can be used for fabric cutting, clay work, and stained glass pattern-making. The mat shipped flat, and its measurements are in centimeters. The mat is ideal for use with Big Shot Switch Plus. It has the tendency to warp, but it can be flattened out again using a blow dryer or heat gun. The mat is double-sided, and one piece of mat is sold in each package. It is thick, which makes it a bit difficult to cut completely through, and the numbers are not in the desired position for some buyers.
