For example, using the Scarlet gel can transform a simple portrait session into a dramatic visual story, giving your subjects a warm, inviting glow.

How do I attach the OCF II Gel to my Profoto flash?

Attaching the Profoto OCF II Gel to your flash is a straightforward process. The gel comes with a built-in Velcro system that allows for secure placement on Profoto OCF modifier systems. Simply align the gel with the Velcro strips on the modifier or the flash head, ensuring it fits snugly. This flexibility is essential for adapting to different shooting conditions.

Can I use the OCF II Gel with any camera?

Yes, the OCF II Gel can be used with any camera that is compatible with off-camera flash systems. Whether you're capturing events or studio portraits, the versatility of the gel enhances your workflow.

What effects can I achieve with the Scarlet gel?

The Scarlet gel delivers a warm, vibrant hue, which can significantly change the mood and tone of your photographs. When used in conjunction with soft or hard lighting techniques, it can create dramatic effects, highlight features, or even introduce a cohesive color palette in a series of images. This flexibility makes it a valuable tool for artistic expression in photography.

Is the Scarlet gel durable for outdoor photography?

Can I mix and match gels for different lighting effects?
