The Safari Ltd Carnivorous Dinos TOOB is an excellent product for both education and entertainment. The animals are well crafted, nicely painted and fairly detailed which gives them a realistic look. Holding and playing with these animals helps kids to understand and remember the concepts more effectively. Additionally, naming of each dinosaur is helpful as it assists in identification. However, the package is annoying and cumbersome to use. Although it is great for storing, the compact size and odd shape make it difficult to get the animals in and out. There is some overlap with other Dinosaur-themed TOOB products and the figures are not to scale. The T-Rex cannot stand by itself, which may create inconvenience for kids. Utahraptor is also missing from the set in some cases. Overall, this is a recommended product for parents who want to teach their kids about carnivorous dinosaurs in an interactive way.
